Galway Christmas Market in Eyre Square
Galway City Council have given the go-ahead for a German-style Christmas market in Eyre Square, Galway 2010.
70 wooden alpine chalets and stalls will be erected on November 19th in Eyre Square and Kennedy Park. The continental Christmas market in Galway will also include an entertainment area, Santa’s grotto, and German ‘bier keller'.
Already, we're luxuriating in the traditional storybook Christmas flavours and aromas of mulled wine, roast chestnuts, baked apples, gingerbread cakes, sizzling sausages ....
