The Galway City Museum, the Galway Arts Centre, and the Town Hall Theatre are planning to celebrate the history and heritage of 'The City of The Tribes'.

They are looking for volunteers to help carry out research, prepare exhibitions, and participate in arts projects in what is expected to be the largest community project of its kind ever seen in Galway, the 'Capital of Festivals'

Cheapest Heating Oil Price in Galway

Cheapest heating oil price in Galway and Sligo

















The cheapest heating oil is on sale in Sligo and north county Galway according to a survey by the National Consumer Agency (NCI).

The most expensive oil supplier in south Dublin charged €720 while the least expensive in Sligo and north county Galway charged €640. A difference of €80!

The survey, carried out on 3 September, found that the price of home heating oil is determined by the location you live in and the oil supplier you choose.

The average price for the supply and delivery of 1,000 litres of kerosene from 134 suppliers in 21 locations was €670 inclusive of VAT.

Average heating oil price in Ennis (the highest in the country) was €696.

Average heating oil price in Drogheda (the lowest in the country) was €655.

The parade will journey through the streets of the Latin Quarter, Eyre Square and lastly to the Oyster Festival Center at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
